Spiritual Wellness
“Unless you change and become like this child...” Matthew 18:3
As our Gospel proclaims above, the Kingdom of God is for children. Here at St. Joseph’s Children’s Home, our dedicated staff is committed to the comprehensive formation of each child. This formation includes advocating for each child’s spiritual growth and is viewed as necessary for each one’s healing.
St. Joseph’s Children’s Home was founded on Catholic Christian principles. These principles advocate for the dignity and respect of individuals of all backgrounds as God’s children. This tradition is maintained today in our facility with the support of the Diocese of Cheyenne and vital to our mission of serving youth that are marginalized and struggle with mental health.
Our goal is to create a safe environment for children to grow in faith, hope and love. At St. Joseph’s Children’s Home, there is a full-time director of Spiritual Wellness who coordinates liturgical celebrations and many more spiritual programs for staff and children. These celebrations include Sunday Chapel services along with special celebrations such as Christmas and Easter.
