Ann Norwood is a native of Cheyenne, Wyoming. She graduated from Colorado State University in 1976 with a Master of Science Degree in Speech and Language Pathology. She had the privilege of serving the Cheyenne community as owner of a private practice in speech and language pathology for 35 years.
She has served as President of the Wyoming Speech and Hearing Association, Wyoming General Federation of Women’s Clubs, and the Women’s Civic League of Cheyenne. She has also been a member of Rotary Club and Zonta International, serving in various positions. She is currently a member of the Board for the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra and the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center Foundation. She values the opportunities to serve others.
She has shared her life with her husband, Gary, a veterinarian, for 48 years. She has two children, Peter, a PGA golf professional and Mary, a forensic counselor and thus far, five grandchildren, all of whom are the loves of her life.
