Years at SJCH: 33 years

Paula has been a valued member of Saint Joseph’s Children’s Home for 33 years. Over the decades, she’s gathered countless rewarding memories, but her favorite moments are the “light bulb” ones, when a student finally understands a challenging concept.

  • What the youth have taught her: Resiliency
  • Her role: Helping children heal and giving them tools to succeed in life.
  • 3 words for SJCH: Family, healing, resiliency.
  • Mascot pick: A dog—for therapy and companionship.
  • Superpower wish: The ability to take people back in time to make better decisions.
  • Fun fact: She’s played Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music twice—once in Torrington and once in Scottsbluff.
