Driving to Torrington yesterday I was overwhelmed once again with emotion but this time with gratitude for all that has been accomplished with Jacob and our family over the last 6 months. I truly believe it takes a village to raise a child and sometimes with kids like Jacob that village is larger than you ever imagined it would be. You all are a big part of Jacob’s story and success.

To witness an angry or hurting child grow in the love of God is to see a true miracle. Miracles happen every day at Saint Joseph’s, including stories like Kaia’s.

Now in her second year at Central Wyoming College, Kaia is pursuing a degree in Social Work. She once believed she was destined to fail, but her time at Saint Joseph’s helped her learn healthier ways to cope and believe in her potential. With a lifelong desire to help others, Kaia plans to serve her community on the Wind River Reservation after graduation.
