Responsibilities: The Night Family Teacher’s primary responsibility is the care and safety of the residents in the living units during normal sleeping hours. Documents the reports and communication log for each shift by shift end.
Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age and have the ability to lift 50 pounds. Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining intermediate certification in the Mandt System of nonphysical and physical intervention with aggressive youth.
Responsibilities: The Family Teacher’s primary function is to provide constant supervision while on duty for the care and safety of each child placed in their care. Using the Teaching Family Model, builds a positive, caring, professional relationship with the residents. Will ensure that all residents are treated with dignity and respect at all times and their rights are not violated.
Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age and have the ability to lift 50 pounds. Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining intermediate certification in the Mandt Systemâ of nonphysical and physical intervention with aggressive youth.
Responsibilities: Responsible for assessing assigned residents’ needs. Develop and monitor the implementation of a Master Treatment Plan, including provisions for aftercare. Provide individual and family therapy and group therapy as assigned. Works in conjunction with the Residential Supervisor of assigned residents to coordinate the case management as outlined in the Therapy Practice Guide.
Requirements: A Master’s Degree from an accredited program in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field with provisional license eligibility for Wyoming L.P.C., L.M.F.T., or L.S.W. within 60 days and full licensure within 18 months of hiring date. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain curriculum to specific areas of expertise to enable them to satisfactorily teach emotionally disturbed children. Utilize the Family Teaching Model. Design and monitor courses of study based on individual residents’ abilities and educational goals established in treatment plans.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Education. Special Education endorsement preferred. Ability to obtain Wyoming Teaching Certification. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age and have the ability to lift 50 pounds. Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining intermediate certification in the Mandt System of nonphysical and physical intervention with aggressive youth.
